prelude and interlude to a lazy weekend
Friday (not the 13th)
hmmm. think i'm suffering from a writer's block. damnit. this usually happens when i'm at work..but for once i'm out of stuff to write.
been planning a surprise party for a good fren of mine with the rest of the gang, hope it really turns out to be a surprise. for one, we have no idea if she's going to turn up..so if she doesn't then the surprise will be on us then!
ironic isn't it? a surprise for the surprise party planning committee..=0) But i'm glad it turned out well heheh its always nice to just nua around with great friends!
yi and mun have been discussing xmen the whole day, hahah and the conclusion is 1) watch it twice if u really wanna noe wats going on 2) stay on til the end of the credits (i bet its one of their ploys to make sure u noe who's who in the movie and earn more money when u go watch it a 2nd time after being totally confused in the first) Smart move i must say heheh!
Sunday (the one after the friday)
Ok anyways, as the weekend draws to a close, i must say tat i'm going to make it a point to really enjoy my weekends. I've enjoyed them so far, thanks to all the great company i've had!
Oh..if u're bored and just want to watch a mindless movie, try The Benchwarmers. Watched it with a friend on impulse and i didn't regret it. Silly, idiotic but really quite funny! Also celebrated jun's bdae at Max Brenners, and it also was great fun, cos ling came and joined us too! Then off we went for some midnight shopping..which was rather disappointing cos the queues were unnecessarily long and some of the shops were irritatingly closed! grrr... but well it did help me save some money for my HK fund.
but yes..i'm guilty of contributing to sales figures for the Great Singapore Sale this round..heheh made off with a few steals, great bargains and great quality! retail therapy sure works..tho it is but temporary relief.. damn..
