musings
tempted to jus cut off all my hair and just rebond the entire thing. but was convinced to do otherwise.
i wanna move on. i'm moving on too slowly. like tj said when telling us abt his expedition.when waves are big, and when u are kayaking, u can kayak all ur might, but u realise u're stil at the same spot. moving in concentric circles, but hopefully these circles get bigger and bigger, until finally u're far enough away from the epicentre.
wait. i thot i was describing kayaking.hahha now sounds more like earthquakes. but mm still relevant la i think.
but u noe ah..i think tat all men need a simple, happy sort of girl. who doesn't ask much, doesn't expect much, yet gives lots, somewat like one of those stepford wives. maybe tats why so many men are turning to vietnam, etc for potential spouses? cos they don't ask for much, are easily contented, etc etc. i guess. if tats the case, i'd probably be banished to the convent of spinsters. actually, i just want to love, and want someone to love me back. but along the way, i don't know how or why things start getting complicated. someone once said tat if he were to find a partner, she mustn't be very smart either. so tat she wont question, or think too much or watever else. so maybe its true then. smart educated women don't really have a place in the world today.
jus think abt it. career wise..she'll forever have to strive to prove her worth. and there will always be a glass ceiling. keep her at home and she'd be discontented cos she knows there are other things than just to worry about her family. but then she needs to find a guy who can accept her intelligence, or someone who is smarter than her. otherwise she probably won't respect the guy and the guy would feel intimidated. then cos she expects to be treated as an equal, and yet cos she's still got her female needs, and gets needy and dependent on her partner, things get complicated, cos these are just 2 very different extremes.
hot hot day..i'm going to get roasted at the national stadium..
