quiet quiet day in the office, all alone at my corner cos someone abandoned me..leaving me all alone..not really all alone but leave me with..sigh..nmind.. got things to blog abt hehe.
jus had bfast with the boss..feedback session once again..bout my job..bout new fren, bout everything. true tat this yr has been better than last..actually the last half yr has been much more engaging, but also lots of upsetting, frustrating moments where i'd thot tat i shld jus leave the job. but with the change in jobscope and all tat, its kinda become a personal challenge. to prove tat i can do it, to have pdts under my portfolio. why shld it matter, you might ask? wat value would tat add on to my cv? i dunno..i dunno why i'm still sticking on. i dunno wat value it might or might not add to my future career but then, why shld it really matter? cos in the end, nothing really matters does it?
anyways, yest was quite fun. checked out pan pac's keyaki bar and oriental's axis bar, enjoyed a saketini and white sangria, with quite a few varieties of tapas, and spent less than 25 bucks in total! quite a good deal..lemme explain how..
ok, first we went to the keyaki bar where they had a saketini promo. 9.99 net per glass (i had the midori melon which after a while tasted like kids toothpaste crossed with cough syrup), with complimentary tapas. tat was fr 5 - 730pm and basically feasted on very fresh sushi, not so tender chicken teriyaki, and rather salty tofu in a spoon. but still not bad la. also had the eclair fr the atrium deli. yummy yummy mess it turned out to be. eheheh.
then at 630, we promptly left and headed to oriental. their promo was til 8, which suited us just fine. didnt really like the tapas tho..has some lamb balls..which had a very sao wei..which i really didnt like..the rest of the tapas were liddat only la..prefer the keyaki one hhaah.
amazing how fast time goes by when u're having fun. hehe
