been quite a busy week (wats new haha) wat with my nose perpetually running, rushing reports/proposals/replying emails, and hanging out with various ppl.

squash, brotzeit, lindy, singapura restaurant, chinatown and maad (the girl actually remembered my name & i got quite a lot of stuff..including 2 pairs of shoes, amazingly also in similar designs as the last time i went shopping with yi, and also got a t shirt wrapped in a plastic sushi box with chopsticks), jus came back from watching a dance performance and some fat-free (but not calorie free) gelato waffles. then tom dinner, eat again! (btw some cny pics are in another entry, srcoll down, and i'm still waiting for more!)

love all things related to dance, but watching this particular solo performance touched a raw spot. seeing the dance, the movements executed, i sorta felt wat the dancer was feeling and wanted the audience to understand. cos it mirrored wat i went thru, and at the same time reminded me how tt was all in the past, the long-gone past. love, lost and found. hey pal, i'm glad we've walked out of it. tat was a really touching solo, and i'm just really happy for you now. =0)

You called me from the room in your hotel
All full of romance for someone that you met
And telling me how sorry you were, leaving so soon
And that you miss me sometimes when you’re alone in your room
Do I feel lonely too?

You have no right to ask me how I feel
You have no right to speak to me so kind
We can’t go on just holding on to time
Now that we’re living separate lives

Well I held on to let you go
And if you lost your love for me, well you never let it show
There was no way to compromise
So now we’re living
Separate lives

Oh, it’s so typical, love leads to isolation
So you build that wall
Yes, you build that wall
And you make it stronger

Well you have no right to ask me how I feel
You have no right to speak to me so kind
Some day I might find myself looking in your eyes
But for now, we’ll go on living separate lives
Yes for now, we’ll go on living separate lives
Separate lives
