i spent a good 2hrs in a very dark room yesterday feeling useless.

it was a sunday evening, and i was watching how a mother was scolding her kid words like f***, s***, c***.

i saw life on another part of the world, but it was so distant from my own i had trouble empathising.

i couldnt grasp how it must be like to find out your mother was burnt to death by her pimp.

i was, however, enthralled by the guilelessness i saw in the children.

i also saw how the light go on and off in their eyes.

*snap*

just like that.

i was also irked by red tape and by the injustice of it all.

the beauty of choice is marred by the overbearing presence of circumstance.

thinking out loud at 11:45 PM
