1 something pm:me is totally tired out from all the late night partying this weekend.
ok, so hanging out by changi beach isnt exactly considered partying, but i must say the crustaceans and echinoderms and co were having the time of their life whilst the tide was out. so we had a field time (literally) checking them out.
- leaf porter crab -
- hermit -
tons of them around!
ok the next series is kinda cool.
try to scroll down in quick succession to see the sand star burying itself.
- flatfish or sole -
near the sole of i-cant-rem-whose shoe haa
super hard to take a nice pic of
- moon crabs -
saw a loving pair (male was firmly stuck to the female), until they got fed up with us invading their privacy and decided to separate.
ignoring each other. hrmph! no more mood liao la!! *oops*
cant remember wat this fish is.. dragonet?
also plenty of shrimp around. easy to spot cos of their glowing eyes.
anemone in action!
its damn cute la! this little ball was pulsating thru the water and we got to see it in action! the pics dont justify it though but u get an idea of how it moves.
moon snails are very pretty.
just look at the swirls =0)
- sand dollar -
- sea urchin -
some sort of unidentified worm..
pretty anemone (i tink its one?)
weird animal tat left us puzzled.
its jus strange..
it kept shrinking in length as we watched it.
kinda gross actually hehe
- toad fish -
quick movements turn the water murky so u cant see it anymore!
sneaky..

i'm very bad at naming anemones.
still prefer my crabs.
ah this one i noe the name. carpet anemone!
with crab hiding beneath it. so cute!
the hermits were out in full force.
this one just moulted.
the thot naked hermit crabs make me laugh
sand star feeding on button snails!
so cool, & check out its tube feet
- ghost crab -
hehehe got to see the fastest runner on shore
it was actually patiently sitting there letting us take pics of it
until it also got sick of the limelight
took off
and completely vanished
all in a matter of seconds

went to kaypo at misskang's performance at mowbray camp, then for laura's wedding yest too (again, pics when i get them), then met up with the rest of the FAGs for more partying. hehhe we're getting good at this. ade! good u decided to come =0)
today's kind of a laid back day.. i feel like the geographical sea hare. woke at, wat, 1? shiok leh then went to buy stuff, had my da paolo fix (oooo soooo yummy), bought a food processor (same scenario as tv.. more on it later)
anyway i'm off to deliver food to various ppl.
