despite being rudely awaken by the tremors, and having to wait for an hr to see the doc, i must say the steamboat party was great!
'never have i had such a cooling steamboat' - how right u are yiyi.. still rem all the times we squeeze at bugis, waiting for food (eh i realise we neh buy sausage this time) and oh-so-hot-and-steamy-and-sweaty-but-unpleasant experiences, i am officially proclaiming my house to be a great steamboat place! (did i jus involuntarily volunteer my house as a location? crap)
my house feels like a hotel. another bunch of ppl coming over for games day tom. i hope i dont screw up squash, but wah i'm soooo glad its friday tomorrow! much to be done..including sifting thru 4gb worth of songs (thank you pirates) and finishing up some of my product stuff before the week starts again.
speaking of homes as hotels, i was reminded to do a little advertising here. pardon me but there's a great place (home) i recommend highly if you are looking for a place to chill (ala cafe). this place serves great tiramisu, comes complete with beanbags u can slouch in, paint your nails, play wii, and indulge in asian fare (laksa is one of the most popular items. pity it doesnt come with cockles). the owners are nice chatty people who make sure u're right at home, right at their own home! if u're lucky, u just might get to enjoy a small piece of belgium paradise.. leonidas truffles no less. head on down to.. duh do u really think i'm gonna tell u and risk having one of my fave places becoming overcrowded?? i still relish the personalised service you noe.
