today's my last espanol lesson. i'm capable of telling you my name, nationality, age and languages i speak. i can also thank you and say you're welcome (btw wat do u say when u thank someone, and they say u're welcome?)
oo i also know how to say things like housewife, pilot, shit, water, goodbye forever. i still tink my tagalog vocab is alot more extensive.
actually i dont tink language is hard. yes i know i've been complaining espanol is hard, and frankly its so cos i'm not used to it. i havent heard enough of it unlike jap or malay or tagalog which i hear quite often. i dont have enough opportunity to practise, or read, or watch. i need to be able to both hear, see and get corrected.
mon's class was kinda fun. stressful definitely cos we were made to go up and talk about our families. HENG I GOT SMALL FAMILY. one of them had like 5 siblings, all married, with at least 2 or 3 kids. solitaire is good.
i kinda like the way life is going right now save for some hiccups and uncertain patches here and there. these are inevitable (i'm in the semi-enlightened-and-dazed-cos-i'm-sleepy state now so i can afford to say tat). and how cool tat i actually know most of the songs playing on 933 (933 leh! not english channel leh!! *beams*)
but its quite annoying to haf to configure new email accounts before migrating it and its also quite irritating haf to go and find bahasa courses my own self when it shld be done by..well someone else? and tat i once again haf to edit the entire foundation website text for like the 12th time. but i quite like tat im kept busy and on my toes especially after work cos i feel like i'm actually doing something useful.
and i dont feel like i'm losing weight despite my newly acquired 'healthy' lifestyle. damn you burgers, wings, durian mooncakes and wat nots.
well, for once, i went off straight to bed after getting back. didnt switch on the com, didnt get online. jus plopped to bed. strangely enough, i woke up missing someone. havent done that in a while.
i was just tinking how i dont qualify to complain and whine abt stuff at tis point in time. i know who i am, why i am here, how i feel and what i'm doing at this very moment. and tats good enough for now.
