one of my 'fans' was asking why i havent blogged in such a long time. long by my standards. well not my fault i blog so often la, cos i'm either bored, or jus dun mind writing. easy thing to do ma, jus blah out wat i wanna say only ma =0)

so yesterday i attended a wake, and usually when i'm confronted with death i end up tinking alot. its amazing, wat u can learn from a wake.

for example,
1) a simple coffin costs around $2.3k at least, and the rectangular ones are usually used for burial. otherwise its the one tats sorta tapered towards ur feet, if u noe wat i mean.

2) if a corpse is frowning, it means the person was in pain when he/she moved on. Quote unquote me grandma

3) the casket business ain't as simple as it seems. there's poaching and snatching of business involved. my aunt got called while queuing at singapore casket by a co called zhen hai chuan offering her $5888 to bao everything. how they get her no? well from the hospital.. apparently they pay nurses and staff to inform them upon anyone's death. and they've been warned before by the police.

4) if u have a pacemaker, they have to remove it before cremation cos it might explode. tats fine, provided they sew back the wound (do wounds even apply to corpses?) cos blood still continues to flow, and apparently they dont really stop the blood flow properly, and it sorta stains the clothes the corpse is wearing and yadda yadda yadda

5) ideally 3days is for most ppl, 5 days for those more senior.

6) there're really quite alot of ppl dying everyday. the queues are impossibly long!

after all that, in conclusion:
1) i honestly still haf no idea how to coordinate a funeral if my parents left. shit.
2) i have yet to choose a nice pic of myself to use as the main portrait but munmun can u pls help me photoshop? thanks!
3) prefer to haf more photos of me ard, during happie times, captioned (idea copied fr yiyi)
4) best if i had like a big autograph book with photos of frens n me n they can write stuff in it.
5) i dun wanna be put in some place where they only serve vegetarian food. pls, i insist, meat hor.
6) simple white or black coffin can liao, where ppl can draw/graffiti/vandalise on it if they wanna
7) no need burn all the gold-silver paper, online transactions/supp/credit cards will do jus fine at half the harm to the env.

and i still tink weddings n funerals are really quite similar. since they are so similar, can i request for costume change too? =0p
