i must say, squishing lemons and zesting limes has a rather therapeutic effect.

just the scent alone, that fresh tangy scent, is enough to perk anyone up.

there is jus something exciting about going to the supermarket, planning and picking out things to bring back to prepare. and its such a nice feeling seeing a dish or cake come together, the heady mix of spices, the luscious combination of butter and sugar, the first few wafts of a sauce or soup yields.

there's just one thing tho. i really hate the washing up bit.
