Running slows aging process: study

WASHINGTON (AFP) - - Running can slow the aging process, according to a study conducted over two decades by American researchers and published on Monday.

The study by the Stanford University School of Medicine found that people over 50 who ran regularly over several years suffered fewer disabilities, had a longer span of active life and reduced their risk of dying early by 50 percent compared to those who were inactive.

i is halting my ageing process!

so there is something else good to running apart from skinny-fy-ing me despite it being rather boring.

hopefully i'll still be un-demented and will remember this study when i'm 50
