nice way to kickstart a relatively long but short weekend here. long cos i've gotta train dists this wk, short cos i'm on super long weekend mode!

wonderful how nature shows u what may triumph even amidst all the chaos and fighting going on around us, in her own quiet special way.

anyway yest was kinda chaotic too in the harbourview household, incessant phonecalls and messages cos there were school kids stuck in bkk and my mom was trying to get them out. we got kinda annoyed cos the teachers kept going on and on about how they feel abandoned by moe, when back here ppl are trying to get clearance asap from the perm sec (no less) to get silkair to just do a special favour and fly all students back immediately and just bill moe later. i mean, these things take time. not say the bkk airport can handle all the planes oso wat.

i wouldnt want teachers like that. and i certainly hope they didnt show such behavour in front of their kids.

in the face of crisis, i would want my leader to be just like my mom. sound of mind, calm of heart.
