ramifications.
finally decided to check emails this afternoon, a decision i regret.
bah. i'm not looking forward to going back to work and dealing with incompetency (of others, apart from my own) more often than is necessary.
on the bright side, its only been 2wks, and i really shld treasure the remaining 3 wks i've got.
all hail unpaid leave.
anyway i was trying to get a cab the other day at a crossjunction, one side had a black cab, the other was a blue cab. black one obviously saw me, but the blue was nearer so i headed his direction and flagged. just before hopping on, the black one reached where i was and horned twice, very loudly. but obviously i jus continued hopping into the blue one, and.... felt so bad afterwards when i turned and saw the face of the black cab driver, a tiny wizened old man with huge specs looking at me half accusingly, half disappointed.
would it help if i said i was sorry?
